Great display pieces…not really for play I bought this as the OG Optimus Prime was my earlier memory of a toy my parents bought me. The set looks great but is pretty flimsy when posing and transforming so I wouldn’t recommend it if you actually wanted to play with it much. It’s much better display...

Lego Optimus Prime This set was a great time to build. it wasn't too difficult and when it was finished it looked exactly like the original G1 toy. I only hope that in the near future they release a lego trailer as well as more lego transformers to go along with this wonderful set.

Awesome Set This is really an amazing set. Brought back lots of memories of when I was a child watching Transformers. The quality and built is awesome. Just wish it came with the trailer. I hope that LEGO would release the trailer to include it with this build. Would also love to see The Original ...

Genius idea, poor execution First set I didn't complete building because it kept falling apart. The lower torso and upper body were not well attached and could have done better with more reinforcement from the technics capabilities.

Optimus Prime My son and I really enjoyed this build, I really wish it would have had the trailer. It brought back all the great memories of the original cartoon. I also added pictures of my sons original Optimus Prime toy, and I also show the size compared to Lego Voltron.

I liked it, it just can't stay together The actual build is great, it's got great posablility, looks awesome, and is very accurate to source material. However the connections aren't very strong when transforming. I'd say the set is pretty worth it, the only issue is the transformation process.

I like it a lot Great display piece. Awesome that it transforms even though its a little tricky and sometimes parts do fall off but I get it, its lego. Overall liked it a lot.
