I bought two if these for our anniversary, they are well built and function well with a tripod ( I also bought 2 of the "titanium" tripods). You won't be able to use this with a current android phone. You won't be able to update the firmware. Very disappointing. This was a gift - there is no way I would buy this with the current level of support provided by Bushnell.
