Purchased the set for 2 year old. He loves the engine. The engine really makes the set and is a huge value add. The action bricks are a fun addition. I've built the set a few times now and it goes together quickly. The kids love it and play is a blast!

I bought this for my 2 year old who absolutely loves trains. The tracks are nice and the train has decent speed. To make it go all you have to do is push a bit, I think this was a pretty smart design idea. The track is a little limited in what you can build so another track set is probably recommend...
