I bought this set for my wife to build. She really liked it and was very pleased with the amount of detail they managed to fit in to this build. This was my second Lego set I’ve built so I was expecting it to take me a while. I managed to build it in just under 2 weeks roughly doing an hour or 2 a day.
I loved the way the pieces were put into seperate numbered bags which made it easy to keep organised.

Hogwarts Castle was a Christmas present from my Husband bought 3yrs ago to help me recover from an operation, we wouldn’t normally spend that amount on a Lego set. I was really doubting wether or not to buy this. It seemed like a lot of money for "just a LEGO set". But I bought it anyways, and WOW!! It looks so majestic. Building it was awesome, and the finished result even better.

This is the biggest set I’ve ever bought. As a Harry Potter fan, I’d like to see what I read in a book comes to life and it does! I enjoyed building it without rushing. Omg! I took my time building it the first time around, and then I immediately took it apart so that I could build it again! At every stage, there is something interesting to build. Overall - I really want to be in love with this, but I'm not. I don't think it was worth the price I paid. I had one bag missing, so I had to get a replacement bag (waited 2 weeks for this). I love the overall design and look of this product, but building it was a real struggle. First, there was a bunch of missing pieces, I was usually able to move on with out them or find some in my bins of extra pieces but I eventually had to make a call because I couldn't move on without a piece. Was a decent build but I believe it needed more detail and could be improved. Also the instructions for this build was to vague and confusing at times. Definitely not worth the money spent. I really enjoy the process of building LEGO sets vs playing with them, so I stretched this one out over the course of 2 months- I limited myself to a bag or 2 at a time, and I didn't work on it everyday. Revived this as a Christmas present from my husband. I'm a huge HP fan. Never really owned my own lego set as I just typically help my 5 year okd daughter build her sets, but so happy to have this. The details on each section are amazing.
