That's a fail Just received the adapter. An authentic Lenovo product that blocs the USB-C connection...poor design of the laptop connections. The USB-C port seems to be build upside down as the gap is on the left side. It should be between the USB-C and the Ethernet connection. Wow.

Poorly designed adapter blocks thunderbolt 3 port! Very poor design. I purchased this adapter tor my Gen 6 X1 Carbon. Unless I'm missing something, the problem is that when the adapter is plugged into its port, it blocks one of the two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the Carbon.

when use it will not able to use USBC beside it (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) it works it have the indication lights blinking for communication, but unfortunately you will not be able to use the USB C thonder bolt beside it. other wise it works no problem.

Why name it Gen 2 if it doesn't fit the Gen 2?
