There is a white rubbery plastic covering on the cable that I think is going to extend the life for sure. Charges fast! Now I just need 10 more because I have a teenage son that takes all my cab... Its long length helps when the power outlet is a bit far out of reach. It charges my iPhone fast and is super useful as an extra charger in cars and for travel.
