The ice cream maker didn’t work. Shed I turned it on, the motor made a whirring sound, but did not turn the paddle. I tried several times to get it to work but nothing ever worked. We are happy with our results with making frozen yogurt and sorbet with the Mini Ice Cream Maker. The only reason not getting 5 stars is the top lid doesn’t snap into place well. Wife loves to make Ice Cream but doesn't always want to deal with the large quantity; enter the 1 Pint Wonder. For a very reasonable price, this little unit gets it done--not much to it and no fancy buttons and lights--just function. The only downside we have noticed: the opening to pour in your mix... The idea of a small ice cream maker is appealing to those of us who love to cook and live in smaller quarters - and this fits the bill. Easy to use and to store! I received the ice cream maker as a gift. It makes a pint in around 25 minutes. My only complaints are that I accidentally broke the top corner tab on the lid in the first week and sometimes I can’t get the paddle to stay put in its slot. For the price, it does a good job. I was skeptical that I’d be able to make tasty ice cream, especially with so few ingredients. Take my word for it, this works.
