Both of my daughters (2yo & 3yo) love playing with Legos (as their daddy does). Daddy also loves playing with trains. What a perfect combination!

My boys aged 3 and 6 both really enjoy this set. I got the additional tracks and bridge. It’s easy enough for my 3 year old to help build tracks and operate the train; and my oldest likes making more complex designs. When their friends are here there’s enough for 4 kids. Really like the product when it actually works. The batteries will not stay properly seated in the battery compartment. Train is not reliably powered because the battery lose contact frequently. Purchases this for my 3 year old son.
Excellent product with good lego tracks and charecters.

I bought this for my 3 year old son. It was pretty frustrating for him to push the locomotive because it wouldn't move. The push and play mechanism, while not a bad idea, should be made in such a way that it still can be deactivated. Also, the motor makes a dreadful noise, we as parents couldn't sta... Bought this awesome steam train for our sons 4th birthday and he also got the bridge expansion pack. Unfortunately the train won't make it up the incline or down the decline. Santa gave my 18mo this for Christmas. It is simple to set up and use.
We bought it so that our older son could play together with youngest. Works perfectly for that.
Making the set is easy, i’d recommend getting extra sets so there’s more track.
