Works well with the cover, with holes for the anchors. I've been using one side anchor and the one mounted to the bottom of the camera.

I've owned various forms of this since they came out, and it has been the perfect camera strap for me! It's thin and light, so it can just do its job without getting in the way or needing to think about it. The anchor system allows multiple attachment points to fit multiple needs. I've had the leash for a year. I have it setup sling style on my mirror-less ILC. I have the capture plate attached to tripod socket and for me it works better as a lower mount than the supplied anchor mount, it seems to put the camera at a better angle.
