I needed a lens that could handle low light and work with fast moving subjects in blue and red ambient light on stage. Got it for a month now, very fast focusing, one thing that surprised me is that how far you have to stand back compared to a 50mm lense, you are standing around 3m away from the subject, but once you are used to this, its not such a big deal, maybe in tight spaces this would cause a problem?
