First of all, purchased this on the roll out date. All went well until the towers were to be built. It was a little confusing how they connected to the base and top with the instruction manual. I had a great time assembling this set. Some really cool techniques in play, and I was shocked to realize you build the whole thing laying flat, and only turn it vertically on the last bag. Overall I really like this build!!! Loved using the various Lego elements to make the buildings. Having the Eiffel Tower as the center piece makes it look great. This was the first set I had ever built on my own. I've helped my kids build thier numerous models but this was my first. I bought this because we had recently visited Paris for the first time.
