Great set, spent a good morning with my son building it together and afterwards filled up the bath to play with it. The curious cat however thought it was something to stand on. Que water, sinking ship and parts everywhere.

Met veel plezier hebben onze zoons deze set getest. Het is een grote imposante doos waarin alles goed georganiseerd in zakjes zit. Onze zoon is 7 jaar en een ervaren lego bouwer. Pros: Lego boats are always a mixed bag...you give up a lot of part count for those big hull pieces...and often the boats themselves are kinda meh. This was an exception though. Mijn dochter van 8 heeft de boot zelf in elkaar gezet met een beetje hulp van haar broertje van 6. Samen hebben ze er veel plezier aan beleeft en waren er ook echt wel even zoet mee; het is een grote boot! Dit is nu twee weken terug en sinds dien hebben ze ook echt veel mee gespeeld! Het pakket is voor mijn twee zonen (7 en 9 jaar) die al lang een groot schip wilden hebben om ook in bad te kunnen gebruiken. The boat has a major structural flaw in that there are only a single connection amidships around the well deck and that any serious play results in collapse as the stem and stern separate. Love that Lego is making these larger boats. This one is expertly detailed, lots of play features, and well designed. Great idea to combine the arctic and divers themes. New orca is awesome.
