Sharp and Compact This lens is brilliant, it is sharp, and it delivers accurate colour, I have used it for shooting Windsurfing and Birds, planning to take it to the race track soon, autofocus is lightning fast on a A74, I promise you won't be disappointed with its performance.

Great glass, lives up to the GM reputation. I already have the 200-600 G but that’s pretty hefty and not easy to have when travelling. The 100-400 GM makes a lot of sense and with the 2x converter in my bag gives me the extra reach if needed on the shoot. Good companion to my other Sony gear.

Great zoom lens Great zoom lens. Very easy to use and not too heavy to hand hold. Photos are very sharp. Another great GM Sony lens.

WHAT A BEAST I BOUGHT THIS SONY 100-400mm LENS A FEW WEEKS AGO & AM I GLAD I DIDNT OPT. FOR A CHEAPER BRAND. IT HAS GOOD SHARPNESS, GREAT FEATURES WITH OSS MULTI FOCUS HOLD BUTTONS & GOOD BOKEH. THE ONLY DRAWBACK THAT I CAN SEE IS THE WEIGHT, BUT ITS A LOT OF GLASS
